The Ghanaian-British creative has worked as a Stylist, Editor, and Creative Director throughout his extensive career, beginning as Fashion Director of i-D at 18. Enninful was awarded an OBE — “The Most Excellent Order of the British Empire” — during his time at W Magazine for diversifying the fashion industry.
As British Vogue’s first Black Editor-in-Chief, Enninful has catapulted the publication to new heights, being promoted to Editorial Advisor of British Vogue and Global Creative and Cultural Advisor of Vogue following his six-year tenure.
The Trailblazer Award outlines his inventive approach to fashion, celebrating his generational mindset and pioneering career. He follows in the footsteps of Gucci alum Alessandro Michele, Dior’s Kim Jones, and legendary British designer Sarah Burton.
