A tall drink of water! Six foot five Euphoria hunk Jacob Elordi towers over his co-stars at premiere of new Elvis biopic Priscilla at Venice Film Festival
Jacob Elordi towered over almost everyone at the premiere of Priscilla on the weekend.
The six foot five Aussie hunk, 26, was attending the film’s launch at the Venice Film Festival and looked dapper on the red carpet in a chic black suit.
The Euphoria actor ranged far beyond his Priscilla co-star Cailee Spaeny, 25, who sparkled in a white dress with bejewelled shoulders.
Director Sophia Coppola and subject of the biopic Priscilla Presley were also present and likewise looked tiny next to the lofty Jacob.
There were some doubts whether the actor and his compatriots would even be allowed to walk the red carpet at the film festival due to the SAG-AFTRA strike.

However, Priscilla has landed a SAG-AFTRA Interim agreement, according to Deadline, which would allow Elordi and co-stars to attend the world premiere screening at the 80th Venice Film Festival.
Priscilla was produced by A24 – which is not a part of the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) and has gotten interim agreements for two other films during the strike.

The film’s agreement has more to do with the fact that it was filmed in Canada under the TCB Productions Canada banner, than its affiliation with A24.
Shortly after the actors portion of the strike launched on July 12, SAG-AFTRA issued waivers for 39 productions, including two A24 films: Mother Mary, starring Anne Hathaway and Michaela Coel, and Death of a Unicorn, starring Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega.
The waivers raised eyebrows among many, since it included other films from A-listers such as Matthew McConaughey, Mark Wahlberg and Mel Gibson, as some questioned whether these waivers went against the spirit of the strike itself.

A month later, SAG-AFTRA modified the waivers, stating they would exclude any projects shot in the United States, therefore opening it up to include projects that weren’t filmed in the U.S.
Since the film was shot in Toronto, it qualifies for a waiver, which would allow Elordi, who plays Elvis Presley, and Spaeny, who plays Priscilla Presley, to attend the premiere.
The film follows a teenage Priscilla Presley as she meets Elvis Presley at a party in Germany, following their friendship through their eventual courtship and then marriage.
Priscilla also stars Raine Monroe Boland, Emily Mitchell, Dagmara Domińczyk, Jorja Cadence, Rodrigo Fernandez-Stoll and Luke Humphrey.
