Pippa Middletons family life from 30-room mansion to billionaire husband

Well wishes are in order forPippa Matthews who is celebrating her 40th birthday today. Pippa, who is the younger sister ofKate Middleton, has been by her sister’s side ever since she entered the limelight.

As the sister of the Princess of Wales, and as the sister-in-law toPrince William, Pippa is often seen at royal events with her family andmost recently attended the Coronation of King Charles III back in May.

However, away from the royal spotlight, Pippa is a doting mum to three young children who she shares with her husband of six years, James Matthews.

Pippa and James tied the knot back in 2017 in front of friends and family. The wedding took place in Berkshire, with Pippa wearing a stunning bridal gown by Giles Deacon. Meanwhile,Prince George andPrincess Charlotte were among the couple’s page boys and bridesmaids.

One year later, the happy couple became parents for the first time when they welcomed their son Arthur into the world in October 2018. Then in 2021, they became parents to daughter Grace andin June 2022 they welcomed another daughter called Rose.

Meanwhile, according to reports,Pippa and James allegedly purchased a £15 million 30-room sprawling mansion in Berkshire last year.

Though she may be a busy mum-of-three, Pippa has also carved out a very successful career for herself and is a published author. She’s also an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation and has released a cookbook in collaboration with the charity.

Husband James, 48, is a successful businessman and is the brother of Made In Chelsea starSpencer Matthews. James, who co-founded the hedge fund Eden Rock Capital Management Group, reportedly has a net worth of £2 billion though this has never officially been confirmed.

While their day-to-day working routines may look quite different, Pippa and older sister Kate have a close sibling bond and once shared a flat in Chelsea together.

With Pippa recently completing a master’s degree in physical education, sport and physical literacy at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, and with Kate’s interest in early childhood development, royal expert Jennie Bond has highlighted the similarities between the sisters.

“Pippa and Kate have always been inseparable. They share similar interests – particularly sport and physical activity,” she told OK! last month. “And now that they have families of their own, both women are dedicated to promoting early learning both in the classroom and on the sports field.”
