Kerry Katona opens up about her dyslexia
Kerry Katona has revealed her “crippling” anxiety led her to cancel a gig last week.
The reality star spoke out about her health as she supported former Made In Chelsea star Sophie Habboo, who is seeking professional help for the same health disorder.
In her latest column with OK! Magazine, Kerry expressed the importance of mental health coming first, as she told readers there’s “absolutely nothing wrong with admitting that”.
Of her own experience, she added: “I’ve struggled with anxiety myself for many years. I had a severe panic attack just last week. I had to cancel a gig as I felt so unwell.
“It really scared me. I haven’t had an attack like that in a long time. Anxiety is crippling.”

As stated by the NHS, anxiety is a feeling of unease, such as worry or fear.
Everyone has feelings of anxiety at some point in their life, however some are affected more than others.
Last year, the former Atomic Kitten star said she had undergone hypnotherapy to help with the condition.
On Instagram alongside her therapist Marcus Matthews, Kerry said the method made her feel “rebooted, like I’ve just been reborn”.
She added: “It’s like I’ve had an awakening, like a higher power.

“I’ve got in touch with little Kerry, who’s been through s***. I’ve reached out to her and I’ve looked after her.”
Marcus said of helping the singer: “What we’ve done is we’ve used a very powerful technique of hypnotheraphy to find the root cause of why Kerry’s been feeling the way she’s been feeling.”
He added to Kerry: “We’ve released this massive feeling so I think we can say you connected with the universe, didn’t you?”
“Massively,” she responded.
In November last year, Kerry said she feared she was going to die after experiencing a “massive” panic attack.

While laying down, the singer told readers she “felt like I couldn’t breathe” after her throat and chest started to feel “really tight”.
“It was awful. I felt like I was going to die,” the reality star added in her column.
To help with the disorder, as well as her scoliosis symptoms, the ex Celebrity Big Brother star told fans in her latest Instagram post that she had been taking CBD gummies and oil, which many of her followers had praised.
Kerry was diagnosed with the spinal disorder back in July after suffering from “crippling” pain.
