Zara Mcdermott Recalls Secret To Calming Nerves Whilst Dancing
Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott’s boyfriend Sam Thompson has admitted that his girlfriend has so much familial support he may have to give up his seat in the studio.
“Her family are so sweet, so lovely, and her grandparents are incredibly supportive of everything she’s done.
“So I think she wants her family to be there a lot because it’s such a huge deal, he said.
“She’s definitely not taking it for granted. The whole family have tickets for different weeks, so I’m going to have to somehow shoehorn my way in.
“I might have to sneak in through the back door!” he told the Mirror at the Pride of Britain awards.

Sam has ensured that there is no danger he will go unnoticed as he supports Zara on her Strictly journey.
In week one he showed up with best pal Pete Wicks and the pair wore custom made shirts emblazoned with her face.
However they were prevented from bringing in homemade signs supporting her.
Zara took to her Instagram stories to repost an image of Sam and Pete holding up the encouraging messages in view of her 1.7 million followers, claiming: “Shame the signs got confiscated.”
Eschewing any fancy flourishes both men opted for simple handwritten messages on white card with Sam’s reading: “You’re our star, Love you xxx,” while Pete’s stated: “We love you Goose xxx.”

Zara survived elimination in week two of the competition, which saw Les Dennis foxtrot out of the show. Overjoyed, she shared footage of herself and pro partner Graziano di Prima embracing as they discovered they were through to the next round.
“We are so humbled and overwhelmed that you guys voted for us,” she wrote on Instagram.
“I have honestly not felt that emotional in a long time, my tears definitely got the better of me… even though they were the happiest tears you’ve ever seen!”
The former Love Island contestant added in her caption: “We love each and every one of you so much and we could not be more over the moon to be able to dance for you all again next week.”
Adding a tearful emoji, she concluded: “THANK YOU, THANK YOU AND THANK YOU AGAIN from the bottom of our hearts!”
