Man Utd legend Paul Scholes appears in bizarre fireworks shout out video as viewers joke 'he just wanted to get home' | The Sun

PAUL SCHOLES left viewers in stitches after appearing in a video giving a shout out to a fireworks company.

The Manchester United legend, 48, was seen in the TikTok clip stood next to a man who was supplying the ex-England star with the fireworks.

And they proceeded to say a few words to the camera to promote the company – Kaboom Fireworks.

The man began by saying: "Just dropped off some fireworks for Paul Scholes."

The Red Devils icon then added: "Best firework shop in Oldham – Kaboom. Cheers lads."

Scholes could then be seen loading the fireworks into the back of his car.

But people on TikTok felt the former footballer did not look as though he wanted to be in the video.

And they reacted in their droves on social media.

One said: "Bro was off quicker than a firework."

Another added: "He got forced to say it."

While a fourth responded: "Scholes just wanted to get home."

And a fifth said: "He was in a hurry to get outta there."

Scholes is regarded as one of United's greatest ever players, making 718 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 155 goals.

He also picked up 66 caps for England, and now works as a pundit for TNT Sports.
