We love Pretty Little Thing for always giving us a high end look on a high street budget – including a glam pair of high heel shoes that are giving us serious YSL vibes.
PLT’s Capped Toe Sling Back Heeled Courts, feature a pointy toe, clear PU sides and a super skinny 4” heel. They’re available to buy in black, nude and red, and cost £28.
Elegant and glamorous, they’d look great styled with almost anything: a chic party dress, smart trousers or even a corset and maxi skirt like the model here is wearing, which is similar to an outfit worn recently by brand ambassador and former creative director Molly-Mae Hague.
And we can’t help but compare these Pretty Little Thing slingbacks to a pair of shoes at the other end of the price spectrum: Saint Laurent’s pointed-toe leather pumps, which cost an eye-watering £870.
Both feature the same pointed toe, transparent side and slingback strap, yet YSL’s appear to only be available in one colour, a vivid electric blue.
Of course, you’re getting much higher quality with the designer pair, as they’re made from calf leather instead of PU. We imagine think makes them slightly comfier to wear too (although we don’t fancy having to walk far on those spindly heels on either pair!).
If you don’t mind the difference in colour and material, buying PLT’s style instead will save you a whopping 96%!
Another high street store has been quick to copy the French fashion label’s shoe designs too, as we’ve spotted that Next is selling a £38 pair that looks a lot like another £740 pair of Saint Laurent slingbacks.
Next’s Forever Comfort Metallic Toe Slingback Heels have an almost identical look to the Saint Laurent Blade Slingback Pumps In Smooth Leather, and have the added bonus of Forever Comfort memory foam padding inside.
High heels not your thing? You’ll want to add a pair of ballet flats to your wardrobe this autumn. This noughties shoe style is trending again since being worn by celebs such as Hailey Bieber and Kylie Jenner, and fashion fans have been going wild for Mango’s £36 dupe of Mui Mui’s £700 ballet flats.
