©SAINT Mxxxxxx and BerBerJin's Yutaka Fujiwara Drop '60s-Inspired Sweatshirts

After launching a second collaboration with BAPE earlier this month, ©SAINT Mxxxxxx has joined forces with Yutaka Fujiwara, the creative director of vintage shop BerBerJin in Harajuku, Tokyo, to craft a succinct capsule collection of 1960s-inspired sweatshirts and hoodies.

In the spirit of Fujiwara’s love for fashion’s archives, the collection leans into the thrift shop’s style codes with a slew of aged silhouettes. Among them, an “eggplant navy blue” sweater features an ever-so-slightly dropped neckline with an all-over distressed finish. Meanwhile, the front of the design simply reads “Saint” in blended lettering, and the back houses the letter “M” in larger text.

Down the line, a bright orange crewneck centers a colossal illustration of the human head that turns sections of the brain into their own universes. Above the drawing, the word “noise” commands the entire chest in all caps. Rounding out the range, a plain zip-up gray hoodie bids farewell to any and all graphics, letting ©SAINT Mxxxxxx’s technical fabrications take centerstage.

The ©SAINT Mxxxxxx x Yutuaka Fujiwara collection will go on sale on Saturday, November 25, at ©SAINT Mxxxxxx stores. Prices range from ¥37,400 JPY to ¥79,200 JPY. Take a closer look at the line in the gallery above.
