NYC-based contemporary artist, Tyrrell Winston has teamed up with Reebok again for footwear collaboration. The two parties continue to explore Winston’s go-to model, the Club C 85, as well as crafting a refreshing iteration on the Classic Leather silhouette.
Like Winston’s first collaborative Club C 85 with Reebok, the new iteration arrives in a pristine white look composed of leather upper. A few aesthetic changes set the new pair apart from its predecessor, which include the color blue being incoporated in the collar lining, outsole, as well as the logo on the tongue. The former faux-fur heel collars are now replaced with a reflective material, engraved with Winston’s full name.
The Classic Leather is presented in a crisp white look and accentuated with cream-colored details as well as a sheer outsole in a light gray tint. Similarly, the heel collar also features engravings of the artist’s name, which can also be observed through the transparent soles.
Speaking on this launch, Winston notes that “There is something special about growing with a brand. It’s not lost on me that very few artists ever have the chance to design their own shoes. It may sound corny, but the excitement for me is real. These shoes, to a certain degree, represent participation and accessibility, and through them people get to become a part of my story.”
The new Tyrrell Winston x Reebok Club C 85 and Classic Leather sneakers will be available to shop on the artist’ official webstore starting November 10, 12 p.m. EST. Both models will retail for $140 USD and will also be available via Reebok’s website from November 18.
