“This is absolutely the best dress I have bought in years,” another chimed in.

“Comfiest dress I've ever owned,” another reviewer wrote. “I wear this around the house, dress it up, and dress it down with boots and cardigan in winter and with strappy sandals and a necklace in summer.  I even wear this to bed sometimes — it's so comfy and soft. Indiana Jones 5 director compares his reinvention to Logan ‘Something new with core ideas’

Earlier this year, Steven Spielberg, who has directed all four Indiana Jones movies to date, dropped out of the fifth film but will remain on as a producer. Now Logan director James Mangold has been recruited to direct Indiana Jones 5 with Harrison Ford starring. And with a release date pushed back yet again to Summer 2020, the action hero will be pushing 80 by the time the sequel is released.

Fans will remember the eighties trilogy was set in the thirties.

While the much-derided Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was made in the noughties with a fifties setting.

To account for ageing and time passing between movies once again, Spielberg confirmed to Empire a couple of years ago that Indiana Jones 5 will take place in the sixties.

Other than that, very little is known about the movie which was originally set to release last summer.

But now Mangold has teased his approach to Indiana Jones 5, comparing his planned reinvention (of sorts) to the different direction he took Wolverine in Hugh Jackman’s final X-Men movie Logan.

According to Comic Book, the director spoke of how he’s always trying to find an emotional centre to operate from.

The 56-year-old said: “In the dances I’ve had with any franchises, serving the same thing again, the same way, usually just produces a longing for the first time you ate it.

“Meaning, it makes an audience wish that they just had the first one over again.”

The director added: “So you have to push something to someplace new, while also remembering the core reasons why everyone was gathered.”

Mangold then went on to use Logan as an example of this approach.

He continued: “There were many that I freed myself from in the canon, in the baggage, to try and make the best story.

“The core values of Logan, of Wolverine, and Charles Xavier and the X-Men, were something that I felt we never abandoned.”

Mangold added: “In any franchise I take in, I’d always be trying to capture and make sure that we preserve those core ideas that are at the centre.”

Considering Logan was a gritty reinvention of an X-Men movie that did indeed respect the core values of the franchise, a similar approach to end Ford’s time as Indy sounds perfect.

One last outing before retirement or maybe even death like Wolverine?

Of course, Indy lived to his nineties in the opening of The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones TV series, but Mangold doesn’t have to respect that aspect of the canon if he doesn’t want to.

Whatever the case, Indy franchise producer Frank Marshall has confidence in Mangold, telling Collider why the filmmaker was the right choice.

He argued: “His love of the franchise. He’s a wonderful filmmaker.

“I think he also has a relationship with Harrison. It was all of the right pieces coming together, at the right time.”

Indiana Jones 5 hits UK cinemas on July 29, 2022.

Ozark: Why did Ruth Langmore really join Darlene Snell? Star weighs in

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

Netflix is yet to confirm whether its given season four of Ozark the green light. The Emmy Award-winning series recently returned to screens with its searing third series, which saw the tables really turning in the saga of Wendy (played by Laura Linney) and Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) as they got their hands dirtier in their dealings with the Navarro Cartel. However, the continued association between the Mexican cartel and Byrde Enterprises came at a heavy price.

WARNING: This article contains spoilers from Ozark season 3

Season three ended with Omar Navarro (Felix Solis) having the cartel’s attorney Helen Piercer (Janet McTeer) killed off and working directly with the Byrdes.

Also, Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner) made the tricky decision to quit working for the couple after they failed to protect her from the KC Mob and Frank Cosgrove Jr (Joseph Sikora), who beat the casino worker to a pulp.

In a strange twist of fate, Ruth ended up joining forces with the Byrdes’ nemesis Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery).

Darlene was already in a relationship with Wyatt Langmore (Charlie Tahan) and getting Ruth into her orbit seemed to be the icing on the cake for the heroin queenpin.

  • Ozark theories: Agent Maya SAVED the Byrdes in season 3 final scene

Going forward, Ruth and Darlene are going to be a force to be reckoned with and could bring much strife to the Chicago couple.

The most recent series saw tensions flaring up between Darlene and the Byrdes as baby Zeke became a bartering chip.

Wendy tried to prove the drug dealer was a bad mother and take the child away from her.

Baby Zeke is going to continue to cause anger between the two sides.

However, the Byrdes losing Ruth could be a source of more trouble for them.

Why did Ruth Langmore really join Darlene Snell?

While it’s not clear why Ruth decided to essentially switch sides, part of the reason may be because she finally understood she would never be a Byrde.

Due to the lack of action after her attack, Ruth knew she would never really be valued by them despite their assurances.

Also, Ben Davis’ (Tom Pelphrey) death which was ordered by Wendy was another reason for her leaving the Byrdes.

One other reason which may have led to Ruth leaving was her beloved cousin Wyatt was with Darlene and the only way to still have him around would be to form this alliance.

Going forward, Ruth’s new partnership with Darlene could lead to further character development with the young woman really coming into her own.

In an exclusive interview with Express.co.uk, Ozark star Trevor Long – who is better known as Cade Langmore in the show – shared his thoughts on where the union between Ruth and Darlene could go next.

He said: “I don’t know. I don’t know if the writers even know at this point. But obviously she’s going to join with Darlene and it’s going to be ugly.

“I think there’s going to be confrontation between the Byrdes and Darlene’s camp with Ruth. It’s going to get ugly.

“My sense is there’s going to be a lot of blood being spilled and it’s going to be interesting to see how the cartel now works in this triangle of struggle: the Byrdes, the Snells and the cartel.

“My guess is they’re probably going to kill the cartel guy at some point. He’s going to be taken out, my guess.”

Reflecting on what his deceased alter-ego would make of this association, Long said: “I think Cade will be all for it.

“You learn a lot more about the Langmores when [Darlene] talks to Wyatt about ‘how you come from a long line of strong people, about making moonshine’.

“She knows of the Langmores and to be honest, I was surprised they never ran into each other in season two – the Snells and the Langmores.

“I always thought they would, there would be some sort of showdown or some sort of collaboration or something but no.”

He added: “I think Cade would surely rather her hanging out with Darlene, she’s more of my type, more of my people than this Marty Byrde guy. You know, anyone but Marty Byrde.”

While this is simply speculation at this stage, should Ozark season four get the go-ahead, fans can expect some fireworks going forward.

Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster’s Strictly partner speaks out on ‘backlash’ they faced

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

Rod Stewart’s wife Penny Lancaster, 49, was voted out of Strictly Come Dancing in week six of the fifth series of the BBC show in 2007 after a tough dance-off with Matt Di Angelo and Flavia Cacace, who went on to reach the final. However, the model’s former professional dance partner Ian Waite, 49, has revealed they sparked a “little backlash” earlier on in the programme in a previous dance-off against presenter Gabby Logan and James Jordan.

When quizzed on if he faced any controversy over staying in the competition with his celebrity partners, Ian explained some Strictly fans were disappointed that he and Penny made it through to the following week instead of Gabby and James.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the Strictly: It Takes Two presenter revealed: “I had one little backlash, which was quite early on.

“We had two good dancers up against each other. I was dancing with Penny Lancaster and James Jordan was dancing with Gabby Logan and Gabby was very good, she was an ex-gymnast, she was great.

“We both danced Samba up against each other and I think because of Gabby’s gymnastics she had very straight legs and more of a stiff look which would have been suited more to Rumba and Penny probably wasn’t as good a dancer, but she had a much better Samba action.”

Ian explained the result was controversial at the time because “it could have gone either way”.

He added: “The judges voted Penny through and it could have gone either way and I got a bit of backlash because of that but it’s out of my control at the end of the day.

“There are some decisions like that where you think, how did that happen? But it comes down to personal preference.”

Ian went on to reveal he “spent lots of time” with Penny’s husband Rod when they began to train for Strictly together.

He recalled: “I spent lots of time with Rod. When I first danced with Penny I had to go to Los Angeles with her because she was practicing out there for the first month and I went to their home in Beverley Hills.

“We were training in a studio on Rodeo Drive and we’d been training for a couple of days and on the Thursday Penny said ‘Rod’s coming in to say hello today.’

“And I was like, ‘Oh my God, only THE Rod Stewart is coming in to look at our practice.’”

Ian then reflected on the moment that the Maggie May hitmaker generously offered up space in his mansion for the pair to rehearse their routines.

The ballroom and Latin dancer continued: “So it was very exciting and he was lovely, very down to earth guy, and he said, ‘You know this studio is smaller than our sitting room at home, why don’t you practice in the sitting room at home? Because we’ve got wooden floors, we just need to push back the table and the rug.’

“So that’s what we did from then on, we rehearsed in Rod’s Beverley Hills mansion, which was amazing.

“And Penny used to invite me many times home for dinner after training and I’d see Rod then, which was lovely, they were very nice and very hospitable.”

Rod often supported his other half during her stint on the show in the studio audience and has returned several times to perform his hits alongside Strictly’s team of professional dancers.

Strictly pro Kevin Clifton recently opened up about an unforgettable moment he shared with legendary performer.

“They asked, ‘Do you want to dance with Rod Stewart?'” Kevin remarked.

“And I couldn’t believe my luck. Certainly couldn’t believe that the other couple had turned it down. I couldn’t believe it.”

He finished: “I said, ‘I’d love to. That’s a massive honour. Rod Stewart that’s a legend.’

“So the first thing I did on Strictly Come Dancing was dance on the show with Rod Stewart singing.”

Brian May, 72, was rushed to hospital after suffering a heart attack at home. It comes after he was hospitalised for a gardening injury that left him with a ripped muscle and trapped nerve.

The father-of-three returned to Instagram today and thanked fans for their support and well-wishes, as he likened the messages to reading funeral tributes.

The Queen legend also opened up following the aftermath of the heart attack and admitted he felt “like I died”.

The rockstar said he was “overwhelmed” by the amount of support he had received.

In view of his 2.4 million followers, Brian explained: “Hello lovely folks. I’m overwhelmed and more than touched by the torrent of love and support that’s come back at me after the incredible press coverage. I didn’t expect all of that.

“As you can see I’m ok. But this is going to sound really strange but my email box is so full of incredible messages. I’ll never be able to thank you all individually.

“So let me please at least thank you here. It’s just unbelievable.”

He added: “Now this is going to sound really strange but I sort of feel like I died and yet I was able to come to the funeral and see all of the tributes.”

Brian went on: “I often think that at funerals, all these people come and say these wonderful things about the person that’s gone but he or she can’t hear it.

“I’m lucky, I got to hear it – so my life is complete. Yeah I’m sorry if that sounds weird, but I can’t compare it with anything.”

The musician went on to state he is “taking it easy and doing physio” as he recovers, concluding: “But thank you, thank you thank you, that’s all I can say, for the fantastic amount of love you’ve given me. It’s really appreciated, I will never forget it.”

Fans flocked to comment on the video message, as one person said: “Brian May you are my idol. I hope you get better legend.”

Another person commented: “Sending you all of my love, Bri. Now and always. Take care of yourself. You are so loved.”(sic)

While a third person added: “Stay safe and get well soon.”

Brian’s admission comes after he revealed that he suffered a “small heart attack” on the picture-sharing site yesterday.

The star’s heart scare came a few days after a separate medical issue, when he thought he had ripped his glutes during a gardening accident.

Brian said: “I was shocked, I thought I was a healthy guy. In the middle of the whole saga of the painful backside, I had a small heart attack.

“It was about 40 minutes of pain in the chest, the arms, sweating. My wonderful doctor drove me to the hospital himself.”

The guitarist explained how he had an angiogram – an X-ray used to examine blood vessels – where medical staff discovered that three of his arteries were blocked and he may have to undergo open heart surgery.

However, Brian admitted he went for the alternative and was subsequently fitted with three stents – tiny tubes that can hold open blocked arteries – and says he is back in full health.

He said: “I walked out with a heart that’s very strong now, so I think I’m in good shape for some time to come.”

Elite is a popular Spanish teen drama series which has been airing on Netflix since October 2018. The series is set at a secondary school called Las Encinas, and it focuses on a group of working-class students who have to fit in with their wealthy classmates. Fans have been waiting to find out if another season is on the cards, and Express.co.uk has everything you need to know.

When is Elite season 4 out?

Fans will be thrilled to hear the series has been commissioned a fourth season, and the news was announced earlier in May.

Just two months after the third season dropped on Netflix, the streaming platform decided to renew the series and bring back the cast.

No official release date has been given yet, so fans will have to watch this space for more information as it comes.

The official Elite Netflix Twitter account made the announcement on May 22, with a video from cast members Miguel Bernardeau and Claudia Salas.

Bernardeau, who plays Guzmán Nunier Osuna, said: “I wanted to tell you that we have got the scripts of season 4 and they look so good.”

Miguel Bernardeau will, of course, be back as Guzmán Nunier Osuna, one of the popular students at the school.

Arón Piper will reprise his role as Ander Muñoz, the son of the principal od the school who is under pressure to outshine the other students.

Leïti Sène as Malick and Sergio Momo as Yeray were introduced in season three, so there is a chance they will return.

The show is renowned for introducing new characters each year, so fans can even expect to see some new faces in season four.

Is there a trailer for Elite season 4?

Sadly as the new season has only just been announced, there is no trailer for season four available at the moment.

Netflix usually drops trailers the month before a new season is due to air, so fans will probably be looking at early next year.

Fans can watch the video posted by the show’s Twitter account, which shows all the main cast members announcing the new series.

Georgina Amorós said: “I wish I could see your faces when you watch it because you are going to flip out. There are many new things going on you could never think of.”

Omar Ayuso added: “I don’t know even how to start telling you what’s new. I’m looking forward to meeting my friends again and being in class with them.”

Nadia (Mina El Hammani) and Lu end up moving away having both won a scholarship together, so the new series may include detail about their new life.

Guzman, Samuel (Itzan Escamilla) and Rebeca (Claudia Salas) have all returned to school having been expelled for hacking Polo’s social media accounts, so they will likely be at the forefront of a new season.

Samuel actor Escamilla says in the announcement video: “I’m so much into it and I’m looking forward to sharing it with you all on the screen.”

Strictly Come Dancing 2020: First contestant ‘revealed’ for BBC show?

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

BBC show Strictly Come Dancing has been keeping viewers entertained since 2004 but as gossip begins to swirl over who could be on the upcoming series, many names have already been thrown into the mix. Now, bookmakers have revealed a new name who is odds-on to join the series in the form of Joe Wicks’ wife, Rosie Jones.

Last year’s show was won by former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher, who lifted the trophy alongside Oti Mabuse.

Kelvin was drafted in at last minute as a replacement for Made in Chelsea star, Jamie Laing, who was forced to pull-out the competition after sustaining a foot injury.

The star beat presenter Karim Zeroual and EastEnders actor, Emma Barton, into first place and viewers are already keen to know who will be on the show later this year.

Some names who have been rumoured so far include Coronation Street actor Jack P Shepherd and former Radio 1 DJ – Maya Jama.

Now, another famous face who bosses could be looking to sign-up is Rosie, who is the wife of the nation’s PE teacher, Joe Wicks.

Bookmakers Coral have Rosie odds on join the line-up this year.

”We think Rosie could shine on the Strictly dancefloor and now make her just 2-1 to be a contestant on the next series,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.

Could Rosie be putting on her dancing shoes after this new data?

Former model, Rosie, began her career in the profession at the age of 17, signing up to the Samantha Bond Management agency.

She later became a page three model, leaving the role in 2014 and met her future husband two years later.

The couple got hitched back in 2018 after being together for over two years and Rosie recently gave birth to the pair’s second child – Marley.

Rosie has been thrust into the spotlight after her husband drafted her in to help with his PE sessions, which have been keeping the country fit during lockdown.

He has been hosting sessions every weekday via his YouTube channel, which hundreds of thousands of Brits have been taking part in.

Singer Pixie Lott on her creative lockdown and a future with wedding bells and new music

We will use your email address only for sending you newsletters. Please see our Privacy Notice for details of your data protection rights.

“Festival season is my favourite time of year. I’m really missing the sunshine and green space,” says the Mama Do singer, who’s wrapped up in a coat and slippers until the heaters are repaired.

“I want to inspire people to sing in the shower so I started sharing songs on Instagram from the bathroom.”

“The sound is pretty good in there and I’m helping charities which mean a lot to me.”

Pixie’s Shower Series is a haven for her fans, who have contacted the star in droves to give a big thumbs up to her song Daydreamer – a sneak peek of her new music, set to be released after lockdown is lifted.

“I made Daydreamer with a guy called Peter Zizzo who I’ve been writing with since I was 15.”

“I want to put songs out there that people can relate to in some way.”

“If someone tells me that a song has helped them, or that they feel the same way as I do, it’s just amazing,” she reveals.

“I’ve learnt through writing that the most relatable songs are about your own experiences.”

“We’re not alone and so many people go through the same things.”

“I try to write it as it is and be authentic and as real as possible for whoever is listening.”

Since lockdown began in March, Pixie’s grand plans, like live shows, releasing new music and getting married to her fiancé and top model Oliver Cheshire, have been put on hold.

The pair pushed their big day back last year due to work commitments and with more spare time together at home, they’ve been finding inspiration and ideas for the wedding
venue, the decor and the
dresses for Pixie’s impressive bevy of 18 bridesmaids.

“I know 18 sounds a lot,” she giggles.

“Five of them are flower girls, then there’s my sister – maid of honour – then 12 bridesmaids who are best friends, my cousins and Ollie’s sister and niece. It just adds up, you know?”

The famous couple have been dating for 10 years and in 2016 Oliver – who’s modelled for Calvin Klein, Vivienne Westwood and Dolce & Gabbana – popped the question on the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral in London.

He’s the most supportive partner, says Pixie, 29, travelling with her to gigs around the world and watching her perform as Holly Golightly in the West End production of Breakfast At Tiffany’s.

“Oh he saw it so many times he probably knew all the words,” laughs the singer, who’s scored three No.1 singles and two MTV Europe Music Awards.

“We work in the same world, just in different parts of it.”

“We know how it is. Some years we’ve had to be apart for a long time but we know how to work around it.”

“The 10 years we’ve spent together have flown by so fast and we’ve got some great memories together.”

Pixie’s kept her creative juices flowing through song.

It’s what has got her through being away from her family, who live in Essex.

She’s tried to improve her skills in the kitchen, too, but cooking is not one of her greatest talents.

“I had a bit of an injury recently,” she confesses.

“All I did was microwave some soup and I burnt my hand really badly.”

“That was my go-to speciality dish but I can’t even do that any more. I really don’t think I’ve got much hope.”

What she can do, though, is build up pretty bracelets and gifts to keep her friends and family cheerful.

Pixie’s been playing with the new Lego Dots range, which gets kids and adults crafting wearable jewellery and home decor using different patterns, colours and shapes, and even mood tiles to show how you feel.

“I’ve always loved Lego but this is a really crafty way of working with it,” says Pixie, who’s been busy making friendship bracelets.

“Lego isn’t just for kids. Lots of people are starting to try new things and I’m so excited to make things for my friends.”

“Little tokens like this will bring a smile to people’s faces.”

Pixie, whose real name is Victoria, has been singing since she was a little girl, making up songs and dance routines.

(She was called Pixie by her parents as she was born prematurely.)

Back in 2017, she joined judges Will.i.am, Jessie J and Danny Jones to find the most talented child stars on The Voice Kids.

A winning mentor for two years running, Pixie has helped youngsters achieve their dreams and the show is set to return again later this year.

“It makes me so proud to see those kids smashing it,” she gushes.

“When I see them all auditioning it reminds me of my path into music.”

“I know exactly how it feels and what it’s like with all the nerves and excitement.”

“Kids are so fearless. They love singing and if they have any nerves I have to remind them that this is what they’re born to do.”

Pixie remembers meeting her singing idols and realising her dream from a very young age.

Crossing paths with Stevie Wonder and Mariah Carey were her “wow” moments, she says, but the best advice came from her favourite Spice Girl, Mel C.

“We’ve got the same birthday, January 12,” she exclaims.

“I would always dress up as Sporty Spice in the school playground because she got the ad-libs at the end of the songs.”

“We met at a show in Scotland and she told me to make sure I embrace every single second.”

“That’s always stuck with me because time really does fly when you’re having fun.”

Jonah Byrde (played by Sklar Gaertner) has been an everpresent figure in Ozark ever since the Netflix series pilot. The typically quiet teenage son to Wendy (Laura Linney) and Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman), Jonah broke the mould in season three after growing closer to his reckless uncle, Ben Davis (Tom Pelphrey). But following the events of the season three finale, could he face time behind bars in the next series?

WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from Ozark season 3.

Along with his sister Charlotte (Sofia Hublitz), the Byrde children had grown tired of listening to their parents and living in fear.

So much so, the two set up a bank account behind their parents’ back under a fake name as well as venturing off with reckless teen Tommy (Tyler Chase) on a number of occasions.

But it was what happened to Jonah’s uncle Ben that really tipped the teen over the edge.

Ben had become a major flight risk to the Navarro Cartel operation and, therefore, the Byrdes’ safety.

As a result, Wendy and Marty schemed with wicked lawyer Helen Pierce (Janet McTeer) to have Ben killed.

In heartbreaking scenes, Wendy lured her own brother out of the Ozarks to a remote diner where hitman Nelson (Nelson Bonilla) soon arrived.

Ben’s body was returned to the Ozarks and Marty’s funeral home where Netflix viewers watched him be cremated.

His death hit everyone hard, particularly Ruth Langmore (Julia Garner), but it was Jonah who sought physical retribution.

So much so, he headed to lawyer Helen’s home with a rifle in hand and held up her at gunpoint.

In typical Helen fashion, however, she managed to talk herself out of the situation, resulting in a furious Jonah heading home without exacting revenge.

Upon his return, he found Ben’s ashes and in a moment of rage, turned and unloaded the rifle’s magazine into a giant glass window at the side of his house.

While theories have emerged that Jonah may have actually shot Helen’s daughter Erin (Madison Thompson) in the final scene, another fan had predicted it could land him behind bars in the future.

Taking to Reddit, Ozark fan Tenthousandrufy explains how, combined with his earlier behaviour in season one, Jonah’s actions could result in something truly harrowing.

They explained: “Back in season 1, Marty and Wendy were concerned about Jonah’s weird behaviour and feared that he would end up shooting a school, now after the first episodes of season one this has never been brought up again,

“Now in the season 3 finale, we see Jonah shooting the window out of frustration because he found out Wendy did in fact order the hit on Ben, what if all of this is foreshadowing to a future plot point?

“What if Jonah really ends up shooting up the school because maybe the situation is getting even more crazy with the cartel? What do you guys think? Probably I’m just reaching but it’s def something to think about imo.” (sic)
