At least ten British nationals are missing or dead following Saturday’s shocking attack on southern Israel, including two whose deaths have been confirmed.
Every Jewish family in the UK has been affected ‘in one way or another’, the Chief Rabbi said.
Sir Ephraim Mirvis told Sky News: ‘The first question we are asking people when giving them a call in the UK is, “How is everyone in your family?”
‘Because there certainly isn’t a Jewish family in the UK which hasn’t been affected in one way or another by this.’ Those confirmed missing or dead include:

A former pupil at JFS Jewish school in Kenton, north London, the corporal had been living in a lone-soldier house in Raanana, according to the Jewish News. His brother Eliot said: ‘Nathanel was full of life and the life of the party. He loved his family and friends and was loved by everyone.’
Mr Young’s funeral in Jerusalem yesterday was interrupted by warning sirens and loud bangs, with mourners taking shelter behind gravestones, the BBC reported.
