A WOMAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died of horror injuries in hospital.
The man was found fighting for his life in Staffordshire on Thursday, seeing a 30-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.
However, the man tragically died yesterday, seeing cops arrest the Stoke-on-Trent woman for murder.
Staffordshire Police today said: "A man found with injuries in Blurton has sadly died.
"We were called at 3.40pm on Thursday to reports of concern for a man at a property on Garside Crescent.
"The man was taken to hospital by ambulance. He sadly died in hospital last night.

"A 30-year-old woman, from Stoke-on-Trent, who was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent on Thursday was further arrested on suspicion of murder last night.
"She has been released on conditional bail while officers continue to investigate.
