Data and analytics executive Chunguang Yu has joined Disney Entertainment Television, Networks & TV Business Operations as SVP, Data, Measurement and Advanced Analytics.
Chunguang moves to Disney from NBCUniversal where she led the measurement innovation and data science team. She will begin her new role on September 11, reporting into Kavita Vazirani, EVP of Research, Insights and Analytics, Disney Entertainment Television, Networks & TV Business Operations.
Chunguang will focus on bringing together consumer research, syndicated measurement services, Disney’s first party data and advanced analytics capabilities to create world class insights that fuel key business decisions for Disney Entertainment, according to the company. She will partner across the organization to lead the evolution of the company’s forecasting approach, drive transformation in data and measurement operations, evolve approaches to cross platform measurement, and elevate the company’s use of advanced analytics to fuel business decision making.

During her time at NBCUniversal, she partnered across content research, Peacock, sales strategy, business development, finance, technology, and product teams to run multi-currency evaluation and integration, develop data clean rooms and bring outcome-based measurement solutions to the market for ad sales revenue growth. Prior to NBCUniversal, she worked at Comcast where she led their data driven media optimization strategy. She also worked in Singapore where she managed the strategic “customer360” project to develop 1st party audience data ecosystem.
