‘He’s A Liar!’ Piers Morgan Blasts Omid Scobie
Piers Morgan has opened up about sharing the alleged names of the royal family members who were “racist” towards the Duchess of Sussex.
The two royal names were featured in a Dutch translation of the new book Endgame, the follow-up to Finding Freedom from journalist Omid Scobie.
This book includes excerpts about the royal racism scandal involving Prince Harry and Meghan Markle back in 2021.
It also delves into the hours leading up to the Queen’s death last year as well as the downfall relationship between Prince Harry and his brother Prince William.
The British press had decided not to publish the names of the “racist royals”, however, Morgan named them on his Talk TV show Uncensored.

During the controversial television moment, Morgan stated: “If Dutch people wandering into a bookshop can see these names, then you, the British people who actually pay for the royal family are entitled to know, too.”
He has since explained his three-fold reasons for the reveal to The Sunday Times, further elaborating on his decision.
“First, it seemed absurd to me that Dutch people should be privy to significant information about our royal family, but British people would be prevented from knowing it too,” he said.
“Second, because this whole farrago has gone on long enough and caused enough damage.
“Frankly, it’s time we were told exactly what was allegedly said by whom to who, when and where it was said, and in exactly what context.
“Otherwise, this deeply divisive, racially charged sore will continue to ooze its way into global public consciousness.”

Morgan added: “Third, because in reporting the names their identities can no longer be held over them as some kind of blackmail threat by the Sussexes.”
He has also said he doesn’t think the royals made “any racist comments”, instead regarding the claims as a “sickening slur”.
Two years ago, Markle claimed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that there had been “concerns and conversations” about how dark Prince Archie’s skin would be when she was pregnant.
She also said that her alleged treatment by the royals led her to contemplate suicide, which Morgan has openly stated he doesn’t believe.

He shared these thoughts at the time on Good Morning Britain which led to a row live on air with weatherman Alex Beresford who said he was eager to “trash” Markle.
Morgan walked off set during the argument and while he later returned to continue the programme, he quit the morning show after six years as a result.
Author Scobie has denied any knowledge that the names would be featured in the Dutch translation and refuted claims it was a “publicity stunt” during BBC’s Newsnight.
