The Traitors Season 2: Teaser trailer
The Traitors is set to return to screens in 2024 along with a brand new spin-off show. However, host Claudia Winkleman will not be fronting the new addition to the schedule.
The BBC has announced The Traitors: Uncloaked, a brand new visualised podcast, that will take fans of the smash-hit entertainment show deeper into the goings on in the castle.
Rather than Claudia, who has been the face of the show, which is shot in a Scottish castle from the off, this will be fronted by comedian Ed Gamble.
Claudia will continue to host the main programme which sees 22 strangers compete in the ultimate game of detection, backstabbing and trust, hoping to win up to £120,00.
Speaking of his addition to the team Ed said: “The first series of The Traitors was my absolute obsession, and I cannot wait to delve deep into series two and dissect all the twists and turns it has to offer. It goes without saying that I am 100 per cent faithful.”

This latest addition to the show comes after it was announced that it has been renewed for a third series, before season two even airs.
The renewal follows the success of its freshman season which reached 21 million viewers at its peak. This made it the biggest new series for young audiences across all BBC titles in 2022.
Claudia recently said she initially turned down the presenting role when she realised it meant staying in Inverness, Scotland for three weeks.
Speaking on the How To Fail With Elizabeth Day podcast, she explained: “We had no idea if it was going to do well. I literally got onto the train to Inverness holding some red leather gloves and a cloak.
