EastEnders airs special flashforward scene for Christmas 2023
EastEnders fans are predicting that none of the six suspects commit the murder at Christmas, but Sharon Watts (played by Letitia Dean) will be at the center of all the drama.
Back in February, viewers of the popular BBC One soap time travelled to December 25, 2023, when a thrilling scene showed someone had been killed in The Queen Vic.
The flashforward caught a glimpse of Denise Fox (Diane Parish), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), Linda Carter (Kelly Bright), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Sharon, and Suki Kaur Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) in the pub with a dead body laying on the floor.
The true identity of the victim remains a mystery in an exciting ‘whodunit’ that’s lasted much of the year.
However, some EastEnders fans are convinced Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) is the dead body after spotting major clues that Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) will kill him.

In recent EastEnders episodes, it was revealed that Keanu is not the biological father of Sharon’s young son Albie and Phil is actually the tot’s real dad.
The shocking discovery came after Keanu staged Albie’s fake kidnapping to get at Sharon before the two reconciled their love and got engaged.
But Keanu also knows his enemy Phil had a fling with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit) shortly before his wedding to Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace).
According to fans, when Phil finally discovers that he is Albie’s dad, has paid £50k in ransom for the toddler, and is exposed for his affair with Emma he will kill Keanu at Christmas in a revenge attack.

Taking to Reddit, one person wrote: “The body will be Keanu. Here’s why – He will find out on his wedding day that Albie is Phil’s and is worried Phil will remove him from Albie’s life, telling Kat about the affair.
“He and Karen are exposed and he (confronts Karen on why she didn’t tell him) turns angry and loses it in the Vic on his wedding day. Karen goes on the run as Phil kills Keanu to protect Sharon.”
Taking to X, @griannedoherty predicted: “OMG Phil’s face when he finds out he full-on unknowingly paid the Taylor’s 50k for the safe return of his own son? If Keanu wasn’t a dead man walking before he definitely will be now. Phil might have eventually let him off the hook when he came back but there’s a limit #EastEnders.”
@natashate1983 added: “From the start, I thought Dean would be dead at Christmas, but I feel he is involved in the Chelsea storyline in 2024. I feel it’s going to be Keanu. The kidnapping and Albie’s father will be exposed at the wedding reception.”
@onlywisteria stated: “Calling it Keanu finds out about Albie on Christmas day, a fight happens and he ends up being the body #EastEnders.”
