EastEnders: Lily Slater gives birth to a baby daughter
EastEnders seems to have dropped a clue as to who is involved in the Christmas Day killing and who the murderer is, with Ian Beale (played by Adam Woodyatt) getting involved in the drama already.
When the flashback first happened, viewers saw Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) on her wedding day, alongside Denise Branning (Diane Parish), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), Linda Carter (Kellie Bright), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal).
These six women appear to all have something to do with the death after they all shared worrying looks and surrounded a dead body.
During Tuesday night’s episode, Ian invited Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) over to try his food, keen to get an investment in his business.
Discussing the possibilities, Ian said: “I know it’s a large outlay initially,” as Nish quizzed him on what he brought to the table.

Bigging himself up, Ian said he had “30 plus years of restaurant experience”, before adding: “And I would hope my culinary prowess speaks for itself.”
Further trying to secure the investment, Ian promised that he would make his money back within two years.
Suki reminded Ian of their last business interaction, which Ian called a “misunderstanding”, and luckily for Ian, she laughed it off.
Nish joked: “I can’t afford to get into bed with someone who’s likely to stab me in the back,” clearly unimpressed by Ian’s comment.

Pushing the boundary and trying to get on a good level with Nish, Ian joked: “You shouldn’t have married her then,” as Suki gave a telling look.
Could the BBC soap have hinted that Nish is the one to be murdered and Suki is the murderer? Has she finally had enough of his controlling behaviour?
Nish actor Navin Chowdhry previously teased the cufflinks will lead the way to revealing who the dead man is.
Speaking to The Mirror, he revealed: “I am aware that Nish is the number one contender to die at Christmas.
“I think the main clue is to follow the cufflinks. There’s some stuff we filmed recently about the cufflinks so look out for that and follow the cufflinks.”
Currently, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) has the cufflinks after being given them by Rocky Cotton (Brian Conley) following a poker game.
However, they actually belong to Nish – so could he end up getting them back just in time for Christmas?
EastEnders airs weekdays from 7.30pm on BBC One.
