Debbie McGee on her embarrassing run in with George Clooney
With the Holiday season in full swing, George Clooney revealed he will be wearing the apron this Christmas.
The actor praised his “brilliant” wife Amal Clooney as “one of the great advocates in the world” but admitted he would die if she was left alone to cook.
After decades of being known as Hollywood’s most eligible bachelor, the Lebanese-British barrister stole George’s heart and after meeting in 2013, they tied the knot one year later.
The couple also share seven-year-old twins Ella and Alexander, but the Ocean’s Eleven star joked that his wife’s skills don’t translate in the kitchen.
During a red carpet interview for his new film The Boys In The Boat, he stated: “I cook, I’ll cook anything.

“My wife, who is a brilliant lawyer, she’s one of the great advocates in the world. She takes on ISIS … but I’d better be doing the cooking or we’ll all die.”
George then lifted the lid on his festive menu and shared: “I’m going to a Christmas turkey this year, I did a little Thanksgiving turkey.”
“It’s hard to find a good one, but I found a good one so we’re going to do Christmas turkey this year,” the 62-year-old added Extra
George and Amal looked loved up as they walked the red carpet arm in arm to celebrate the film’s upcoming release.

The Human Rights lawyer oozed glamour as she upstaged her Hollywood husband with a floor-length figure-hugging yellow gown.
Her look was a stark contrast to George who kept things muted with a simple black suit, navy blue shirt, and shiny black shoes.
Although the silver fox is widely recognized as a beloved actor, he remained behind the scenes for The Boy In The Boat, as its director and producer.
The biographical drama is adapted from Daniel James Brown’s 2013 non-fiction book, The Boys In The Boat: Nine Americans And Their Epic Quest For Gold At The 1936 Olympics.
