Nigel Farage’s girlfriend gives her views on PM rumours and more
Nigel Farage’s family informed him the “boat is afloat” which led many to question the cryptic meaning.
During Sunday night’s episode (December 3), the campmates were left emotional after they received letters of encouragement from partners, children and friends on I’m A Celebrity.
One moment that caught viewers’ attention was when Nigel’s children delivered a cryptic message to the GB News broadcaster.
The former UKIP leader, 59, has four children. He shares Thomas and Samuel with his first wife Gráinne Hayes and Victoria and Isabelle with his wife Kirsten Mehr.
Josie Gibson read Nigel’s letter from his kids, which said: “To Dad, you’ve achieved so much over the years but nothing has made us prouder than showing people who you really are.

“Why are we not shocked at you effortlessly sinking those dirty pints?”
They added: “You will be pleased to hear the boat is afloat and everything’s running smoothly.”
Taking to Twitter, formerly X, viewers admittedly picked up on the message as some social media users claimed it was a secret code issued to the politician.
One wrote: “‘Boat is afloat’ sounds like some sort of secret code in Farage’s letter.”

Another echoed: “Farage’s ‘kids’ giving him a covert message: the boat is afloat and everything’s running smoothly. Aww, how heart-warming.”
A third added: “‘You will be pleased to hear the boat is afloat,’ erm nigel notoriously hates the boats actually.”(sic)
Meanwhile, racing jockey Frankie Dettori became the first campmate to leave the 2023 series after receiving the least amount of votes from viewers on Sunday.
Hosts Ant & Dec entered the camp and left the celebs in suspense before announcing Frankie, 52, and Nella Rose, 26, were both in the bottom two.
Speaking about his time in the jungle, the jockey commented: “I’ve been dieting for thirty years but this is a different level with the heat and fatigue of the jungle.
“It’s been a challenge, I’ll be honest, I’m disappointed to be the first one out but happy to have faced my fears of snakes and enclosed spaces.”
