ELIZA Woodrow decided to live with her father Dom Everett who unexpectedly walked back into her life.
Devastated to be away from her, Coronation Street favourite Stu Carpenter decides to splash the cash to get her back.
The former homeless man and Speed Daal chef portrayed by Bill Fellows was over the moon when he was able to connect with his granddaughter Eliza (played by Savannah Kunyo).
And while her arrival in the cobbles was tainted by devastation, as her mother Bridget was sent to prison for murder, the schoolgirl was able to make friends and find her mark in the cobbles.
But soon, she began to question where her father, Dom (Darren Morfitt), was and she was finally able to track him down online.
This resulted in her wanting to live with him, leaving her heartbroken grandfather Stu at a loss.

Since then, Stu has been keen to get Eliza back at No.6 with him and his partner Yasmeen Nazir (Shelley King).
The fan favourite character even hired a private investigator called Lesley to dig dirt on Dom.
Coming up next week on ITV, Stu meets up with Lesley who reveals that in 2020, Dom was done for dangerous driving in Germany.
While Stu could use the information to his benefit, he actually comes up with a shocking plan to get Eliza back.

In later scenes, Stu invites Dom for lunch in the Bistro, where he quizzes him about his life in Germany.
With lunch finally over, Stu then offers Dom £10k in cash to stay out of Eliza’s life.
Dom later appears to accept Stu's jaw-dropping offer and later calls at No.6 with Eliza and all her worldly possessions.
Eliza’s bemused as to why she needs so much stuff when she's been told she'd only be staying for a few days.
Dom and Stu exchange knowing looks, hinting the deal is on.
Will Eliza ever find out?
How will Yasmeen, known for her strong moral code, react if she learns what her other half has decided to do?
Will Dom stick to his end of the deal?
This seems very likely as, back in September, 2023, Dom was the first to suggest Stu should pay him to leave Eliza in his care.
At the time, Eliza had just been hit by a car – an accident Weatherfield bully Mason Radcliffe (Luca Toolan) was revealed to be responsible for.
Eliza was rushed to hospital with a broken arm as a result of the hit and run before admitting she wanted to live with her father.
The revelation came as a shock to Dom and he rushed out of the room, thus allowing Stu to try and talk Eliza out of her decision.
Dom then dropped a bombshell on Stu by admitting he didn't want Eliza to move in with him full-time.

To make matters even more upsetting, Dom told Stu he'd be willing to back off Eliza if he was paid off.
"You got all that compensation money still, so ten grand should cover it," he said.
An incensed Stu replied: "I can’t believe this, you’re trying to sell your own daughter. I give you cash and you walk away. You want money over your own flesh and blood."
