The Repair Shop: Judi Dench brings her husband’s pocket watch
Percussion instrument expert Pete Woods has been flooded with support after he said goodbye to the latest series of The Repair Shop.
Pete, 66, took to Instagram to share an image with his 453 followers.
Captioning the black and white shot of his colleague Dominic Chinea, 37, he wrote: “Well there you go, the last reveal of the series.”
Before adding: “Always a sad day when it happens as we do become a family, experts and crew.
“Thanks for all the good times and laughs. Next series here we come, after a little rest of course.”

Whilst a second added: “Cheers Uncle Pete.”

Pete wasn’t the only expert to confirm the team were taking a break from filming.
Julyan Wallis paid a tribute to his fellow co-stars by sharing a snap of them standing outside the iconic barn.
He penned: “And just like that. Boom!!!” Julyan captioned the photo as he confirmed they were taking a break until next year.
“Series 9, that’s a wrap. Great times with brilliant people as ever.”
He concluded: “See you next year for more episodes of @therepairshoptv Now back to normality and catch up with those instruments piling up!”
Julyan’s co-stars were quick to comment on the post, with hat expert Jayesh Vaghela writing: “Missing all of you great people!!!”
Sonnaz Nooranvary went on: “What a great photo.”
