Sir Tom Jones sparked concern from fans as he returned as a judge on The Voice on Saturday night (November 4).
The Welsh superstar sat in the big red chairs again alongside Olly Murs, Anne-Marie and will.i.am as they searched for the newest singing talent on the seventh series of the ITV show. But Sir Tom's appearance set off worry among viewers after some spotted what looked like a mark on his face and urged him to have it checked out by skin specialists.
One person commented on X, formerly Twitter: "I hope Sir Tom has had that brown mark on his face checked out." Another viewer asked: "What's that new spot on Tom's face? Hope it's ok."

The 83-year-old legendary crooner has previously been open about his health battles. He had both of his hips replaced in the last decade, having undergone surgery on his left hip in 2017 and his right hip in 2022.
The singer's right hip replacement came after he began to struggle to stand up during his performances on stage revealing in an interview that prior to surgery he could only "do about four songs without sitting". Speaking at ITV's Entertainment Autumn Showcase last year, he said: “I’ve got to have a new hip.
"I had [my left hip] done five years ago and it worked great, so now [my right hip’s] starting to go – wear and tear! "So, at the moment, I’m bone on bone!
"That’s what the fella [doctor] told me. But I’ve got a tour to do in America first, I can’t go in now. He said, ‘Well, you should!’ I said, ‘I can’t, I’ve got a show to do!’”
Following his hip surgery last year, Sir Tom wrote on social media: “Papa has two new hips now! For all those concerned and sent in well wishes, I am pleased to report my recent surgery went very well, I’m following orders and doing my physio, so happy to say I will be back soon!”
The showman also revealed recently that he has been on a health kick which saw him radically change his diet. He said he cut down on alcohol and started following a caveman diet which sees followers consume just lean meats, fruits, fish, vegetables, nuts and seeds.
Speaking on a Radio Two show, Sir Tom said of his weight loss : "I was putting too much weight on. I didn't think I was going to and I left the working out for a bit, thought I'd keep a check on it. But with the Christmas puddings and cakes, before I knew it I was 230lb (16.4 stone) which was 30lb more than I should be.I couldn't get into my suits. That's when I thought: 'This has got to stop'."
