Anton Du Beke reacts to Annabel Croft’s routine on Strictly
Strictly Come Dancing fans issued the same complaint just minutes into the second live show.
Last week, the celebrity contestants were safe from elimination, but on Sunday night, one couple will be sent packing from the BBC competition.
However, Annabel Croft seemed to “miss a few steps” during her routine with Johannes Radebe – and it didn’t go unnoticed by viewers or the judges.
Many issued the same complaint about the performance, which scored the duo 22 points from the judging panel.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @theatresnob shared: “Yes I agree with Craig, Annabel’s frame was very loose and she lost a lot of the shaping #strictly.” (sic)

@DrrewRya echoed: “Opps that went wrong had to count her back in #strictly.” (sic)
@ASuperGav added: “Oh dear, Annabel. Some quite obvious missteps #Strictly.”
@PrincessPKaur went on to air their concern by tweeting: “I really like Annabel but she seemed so nervous at times.”
“I do see improvements in Annabel from last week, but overall I don’t think that was great sadly. There was a lot of gapping, and several footwork mistakes and it was very skippy. But she is getting better and she did move well across the floor. 4 or 5 from me,” @slinehan1 commented.

On Sunday night, the two celebrities who receive the least amount of votes will have to perform again in the dance-off.
It will then be down to the judges, Craig Revel Horwood, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke, to cast their votes.
However, in a tie-breaker situation, it would be up to head judge Shirley to make the final decision.
The bookmakers have also been coming up with their own thoughts about who will face the first elimination.
Nikita Kanda and Les Dennis could end up facing each other in the dance-off this week following the latest odds.
Nikita has odds of 1/2 to be eliminated, while Les has odds of 10/11.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes said: “The latest figures don’t bode well for Nikita and Les’ chances this weekend… the most likely outcome on Sunday night is a dance-off between those two if the odds are anything to go by.”
Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
