Coronation Street: Tim is attacked by Stephen
Eagle-eyed Coronation Street fans were quick to notice a huge error during Tim Metcalfe’s (played by Joe Duttine) showdown with Stephen Reid (Todd Boyce).
On Monday night, ITV viewers watched as Tim learned Stephen was interested in the canal dredging project.
After seeing the killer act suspiciously a few days ago, Tim decided to go and investigate for himself.
Using a nearby object to poke around in the water, he was stunned when the hand of a dead body floated to the top.
Running back to his car, he tried to call the authorities to report the body he’d found, however, the line suddenly cut out.

Before Tim got the chance to call back, killer Stephen made himself known in the back of his car.
Taking off his tie, Stephen then tried to strangle Tim in the driver’s seat, realising he knew he was responsible for the dead body.
Managing to break free, Tim made a desperate run to try and escape the killer but was knocked unconscious when Stephen hit him on the head with a metal rod.
Lying unconscious on the floor, people feared for Tim’s life as Stephen tied his hands up, strangled him and then shoved him into the boot of the car.

Driving his car into the woods, Stephen covered the car in petrol and returned to Weatherfield with many wondering if Tim survived the ordeal.
However, it looked as though many people were left distracted when they spotted a huge error when Tim was lying unconscious on the floor.
When Stephen first hit him, Tim’s legs were sprawled out, although when the camera cut back to the victim his legs were crossed.
Taking to Twitter, @ifeelflames said: “The lack of continuity over Tim’s fall position [sic] lands sprawled, then in the next [segment] his ankles are neatly crossed.”
@mvpnrs commented: “But he moved! Crossing his legs?”
@sue20adams said: “He goes down with one leg straight and the other at an angle, pans to Stephen and then when it goes back to Tim his feet are crossed.”
Although @poppylover79 pointed out: “I noticed that! However, he wasn’t dead so could have moved I guess.”
Coronation Street continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 8pm
