Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, the former Strictly Come Dancing star has now shared his thoughts on the current series.
Jamie starred in Made in Chelsea alongside Zara’s boyfriend Sam Thompson, so he’d been on hand to offer advice.
When asked who he was now hoping to win the BBC competition, Jamie stated: “I was kind of backing Zara all the way.
“And I know Layton [Williams] pretty well and he’s absolutely killing it, that guy can move.

Unfortunately, Zara was eliminated from the series last month after finding herself in the dreaded dance-off.
The judges unanimously decided to send her and dance partner Graziano Di Prima home.
The latest episode saw actor Adam Thomas become the latest to leave the show.
He was up against Angela Rippon in the dance-off but the judges unanimously decided to save her from going leaving the competition.
Jamie is currently working with Costa Coffee as the popular chain celebrates the return of its beloved Black Forest and Cream Hot Chocolate which caused huge uproar when it was taken off menu in Autumn 2022, with one superfan even going as far as starting a petition to get her festive obsession back.
Hot chocolate fans will be pleased that, along with the Black Forest and Cream Hot Chocolate, Costa Coffee’s Terry’s Chocolate Orange Hot Chocolate and Inspired by After Eight Hot Chocolate have once again joined the Christmas menu.
Both are served with either a luscious Terry’s Chocolate Orange Segment or After Eight Chocolate Thin on the side.
Strictly Come Dancing continues on Saturday at 6.05pm on BBC One.
