I bought the viral Skims dress then realized the butt and hips weren’t included, I’m considering legal action | The Sun

A STYLE-ENTHUSIAST has been left frustrated after buying a viral dress that wasn’t as flattering as she had expected.

She decided to order a figure-hugging dress from Kim Kardashian’s Skims clothing brand after seeing fashionistas rave about it online.

Emari (@emarijanee) has been steadily growing her following on TikTok, with random shopping videos.

She took to the social media platform to vent her fury after being left unimpressed by a long slip dress from Skims.

The $78 dress in the color camel is currently reduced to $40 on the brand’s website and sold out in every size except 4X.

Despite thousands of glowing reviews and an almost-perfect star rating, Emari found herself disappointed with the purchase.

She played the viral soundtrack Ain’t Nobody Told Me Nothing by Kendria Bland as she pretended to scream and rant.

“So the a** and hips aren’t included with the Skims dress [crying],” read the text over the video.

Emari covered her face with her hands before turning towards the camera to show how her bum looked in the dress.

She seemed like she was on the verge of tears as she raged about the dress not looking as expected.

“ATP [at this point] I’m pursuing legal action because they said they could cure no a** at all,” she captioned the post.

Over 8.5 million people watched the video and it raked up millions of likes from people who were able to relate to the rant.

Thousands of viewers took to the comment section thanking Emari for sharing her review of the dress and trying to reassure her that she looked good.

Others were in hysterics as they confessed they had opted to buy dupes because they feared Skims dresses wouldn’t suit their body shape.

One person wrote: “Thank you for helping me save my money.”

Another commented: “Girl you look amazing, you don’t need large assets to make a dress look good. You ate!”

A third chimed in: “Thanks for telling me because we built the same [crying] thought it would snatch me up.”

A fourth said: “Seriously though, I used to work customer service for Footlocker and someone was upset because the shirt he ordered didn’t come with muscles and abs.”

Another added: “I felt this on another level [laughing], but actually you look so good! The dress fits so smoothly.”
